How it works

Start with access to your ad account. Add your own outcomes when you are ready.

Both paths run the same workflow. The difference is how much of the customer’s journey we can see, and so how precisely we can judge each ad.

Path one

A Meta token

The fastest way in. Choose one:

  • Partner access. In Meta Business Settings, add our business portfolio as a partner on your ad account. You choose the permission level and can remove it in one click.
  • A system-user token. Create one in your own Business Settings and send it through the one-time secure link we give you. It is encrypted the moment it arrives.

From there we read your account history, run the audit, and start the daily brief. When creative is part of the engagement, we produce and launch it in the same account.

PermissionWhat it lets us do
ads_readAudit, measure, rank creative, write the daily brief.
ads_managementLaunch, pause and adjust budgets. Each change is proposed, approved by you or your delegate, and logged.
business_managementNot required. We never ask for it.
Path two

Enterprise integration

Meta only knows what its pixel was told. Connect your own outcomes and every ad is judged on what it actually produced: activated customers, revenue, retention, sales at the register.

Option A

Events API

Send signups, activations and purchases as they happen. Duplicates are ignored by your own event id; malformed events are kept with a reason, never silently dropped.

Option B

Read-only database role

Grant select on the tables you name, and nothing else. Every query we run is also wrapped in a read-only transaction.

Option C

POS and CRM exports

Scheduled exports from your point-of-sale or CRM, matched to campaigns by date, location and attribution fields.

Events API
curl https://www.cedarcreekanalytics.com/api/v1/events \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer cca_live_…" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"events": [{
        "event_id": "ord_10482",
        "type": "purchase",
        "occurred_at": "2026-10-25T14:02:11Z",
        "user_id": "cus_8812",

      }]}'
The whole of a database grant
create role cedar_reader with login password '…';
grant usage on schema public to cedar_reader;
grant select on signups, orders to cedar_reader; -- only what you name
revoke insert, update, delete, truncate on signups, orders from cedar_reader;
The first month

From access to a working rhythm.

Week 1

Audit

Account history, tracking, structure and spend read end to end. You get a written list of what is costing money and what we would change first.

Week 2

Measurement live

The daily brief starts. Outcomes are reconciled against your records and creative is ranked on real cost per customer.

Weeks 3–4

Production and deployment

The first creative families launch under the new structure, with every change approved and logged.
